I am highly concerned about the diagnoses provided from poor quality imaging equipment at your facility. Twice now, I have been told that my dogs have had terminal cancer and discussed end of life care and planning, only to find out that no such cancer exists when they were taken for higher quality imaging elsewhere. In the first case, my male, Guido, ended up having only a UTI which was easily treated with antibiotics. In the second case, my female, Macy, had an abscessed tooth which is now being treated with antibiotics ahead of surgical removal by another vet. While I don t doubt that your vets believed what they were seeing and saying, I can t help but wonder how many pets may have been needlessly put down in similar instances.
