We love Harrisonburg Animal Hospital and this was the first time that something really serious was wrong with our pet and they took such great care of her!

Dr. Nelson is the best! I really appreciate that she explains everything so well and gives me options for treatment of my dog, Kelly. I feel like my opinion really matters to her.

The whole experience was great. The front staff was very helpful from the time I called in to make the appointment, and even a follow up call! I really liked it when the vet came into the room and started talking to my dog instead of me first. I felt like she really made him feel comfortable.

My cat was is in a bit of a crisis which required four different medications. I was still in shock and overwhelmed by her condition to absorb the information. A number list of what to do in order would’ve been helpful. It was just a lot to take in and try to figure out. Also, I haven’t been a customer of HAH long so there hasn’t been an opportunity to discuss my cat’s hyperthyroidism issue much. It came up once and drug treatment was mentiomed. My cat is very “hands off” so twice a day meds would not have worked for her. However, I learned that there is a cure for hyperthyroidism via AI two days ago. It’s likely too late for that now. I am so so sad I did not know that was an option for her.

Once again, Harrisonburg Animal Hospital exceeded expectations. Everyone in the office was kind and very helpful. They got my kitty in quickly for her initial visit and required procedure. When she had some complications from surgery (due to her age), they were so caring and worked hard to determine what to do to help her. She feels so much better now. Thank you to everyone there!

All the staff and vets are attentive, caring, kind, respectful and so helpful. I feel that my dog always receives great care when I bring him to HAH.

The staff were very helpful from start to finish with my dog Delta. He is a little reactive with other dogs and a nervous at the vet but they did their best to keep him comfortable.

As always Dr. Nelson and the entire HAH staff were top notch!!
