Great friendly people

Besides the wait, which I understand the patient was being taken care of, I did have a great experience at the Animal Hospital. The medicine provided to my Dixie was exactly what she needed. I am happy with Animal Hospital and I plan to take Dixie out there yet again this month for her dental cleaning.

I was told my dog needed surgery to remove a small mass on her eyelid. My dog is 12. The vet did not talk to me about possible issues an elderly dog might have with anesthesia. I was given a menu regarding the cost of the surgery ranging from $350 to $700. I could choose what I wanted done. That is absurd. I am not a medical professional. I need to know what has to be done in the best interest of my dog. I have completely lost trust in the Frankfort Veterinary Hospital.

They were able to squeeze me in because my dog had an injury in the pad of her foot. She was apparently kind of vicious and they let me put the muzzle on her. She’s doing fine, and I am pleased with the service that we got.

We love Frankfort Animal Hospital!

I was taken advantage of by Frankfort Animal Hospital staff telling me they needed to do a checkup and some blood test in case the doctor were to prescribe some medication and then being taken back to do those tests when the doctor came out to tell me that she wasn t going to prescribe and medication. I was charged $141 for tests that shouldn t have been done.

Brooke is an excellent tech. My dog cooperates with her. The clinic allows her to be assigned to our appt so that my dog feels comfortable for nail trims and expressing his glands. Thanks, Brooke.

Loose fur on the floor of the consultation room. I m used to fur at home, so it wasn t a big deal, but it may be a turn off for someone else, or even an unannounced inspection visit from board of health, (if they do that kind of thing).

I understand that delays may happen due to unforeseen circumstances, however, if there will be a wait for services 45 minutes beyond the appointment time, it would be nice to be notified of that so that one doesn’t think they have been forgotten about.
