I was able to get in the same day both times I called. Our dog Ellie was diagnosed with lymphoma and didn’t respond to treatment. The staff was so nice to us and took good care of our girl. We were heartbroken to lose her but the staff made sure she was comfortable. I’m grateful her last moments were peaceful.

Hello,3 things. 1.) We are thankful to see faces and not masks. My dog is a rehab and would have been very sketched out to have seen masked people. We appreciate everyone being able to breathe freely as well. 2.) Common sense says if you are in a little room with your animal and the tech comes in and out of it. Touches and handles your paperwork and pen. Takes your animal into another room. Then the tech and vet come back into your room with your animal to tell you the findings... why take the pet out of the room at all? It makes no sense. Covid protocol or not, they are touching an animal you petted all over and you ll be petting them again after they touch them... it s weird if it were for kids it s weird for pets, don t take the animal somewhere else to examine out of sight. I shouldn t have to hand over my kid or animal to be out of my sight especially when the reasoning is so ignorant. It isn t cutting down on any germs. Everyone still interacts the same, just the vet and tech get personal with your animal without you presence. Super odd. It prevents nothing as far as germs are concerned. 3.) We were quoted $25 for a urinalysis. Then we the urine came to be tested they charged $45. Said they were switching over machines. Switching over machines is allnwell and good, but best business practice is to give the customer the quoted price from their business. That isn t the customers hit, that should be the hit and expense of the business to cover the gap they misquoted. $20 may not seem like a lot to Frankfort Animal Hospital but after spending almost $400 there my sister, who is a single mother waitress, didn t have the extra to give. Thank you for your time.

I’m sure it was busy, but some things were missed in the appt and no one really seemed to know what was going on. We usually have a great experience, so we’ll consider this an anomaly.

I have a lot of stress leaving my dog because I know he s scared, but I felt like I was leaving him in very good care, so it eased my anxiety. The communication was great, everyone was friendly and we will be back! Oh, and great prices!
