No office visit. Virus.....as usual, Tanya was her bright and cheery self. Very efficient. As was Maddie

This wasn’t a typical visit as I didn’t go in with my dogs. The staff were very helpful and kept in touch via phone.

Under the current Covid 19 conditions, I think PPAH did a great job in treating our pets and keeping us all safe with the precautions they took. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We just love PPAH---especially Cali.

I appreciate getting a sedative/calming agent for my dog and being able to bring her back the same day. She is fearful around strangers without me being there (rescue dog).

Because of COVID-19, I was not allowed to accompany my pet in the building. This was very upsetting to me. I feel that if I wore a mask and stayed the appropriate distance from staff, I should have been able to accompany my pet inside. Since the visit, my pet has not wanted to go for a walk, has been very lethargic and when I tried to put her harness on her she yelped. This is very disturbing to me because she did not do this before the visit.

With all that is going on with the COVID precautions, I felt like it was a very easy process. At first I felt a little uneasy about it, but my expectations exceeded with this visit. I’m so happy that they are taking the precautions seriously especially with the fact that we know very little about the disease (as well with COVID vs pets) since both me and my husband work in healthcare. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We appreciate you so very much and for being able to accommodate us!

Since we could not be in the building due to Covid, you handled communication well with phone calls.

The person I spoke to on the phone to make my appointment did not listen to me and my concerns for my dog. She was rude and abrupt. In a time when our animals are sick concern and attention is what is needed. Because she didn’t listen I was calling back and forth to OC and Oceanview in order to be seen by Dr. Maniotti. She kept asking if my dog was a different animal (rabbit/guinea pig) each time she picked back up the phone. Then when she did get me in, after I told her I did not want to be charged for an emergency appt, she told me I would and another person heard her and told her I wouldn’t. The entire, several calls it took to get in, was frustrating to say the least. Other than that I give Dr. Maniotti’s practice 5+ stars! He is kind, caring and has never rushed me when I’ve needed to be reassured. I could go on and on about him and his care for his patients and their parents.

All the above was wonderful very friendly and caring staff. The Dr Hemingway was very professional and took time to explain everything to me. I appreciate the care that was given to my pet.

JUST GREAT

Overall, I find the vets, techs, and staff knowledgeable, thorough, and friendly. They treat my pet well each time I come in. Due to the restrictions in place due to COVID19, two questions are not applicable. However, the recent email regarding the change in online sources was somewhat condescending, misinforming, and insulting. I understand the concern regarding the inconvenience this can create for the practice but to imply that online sources are questionable without supporting your accusations is questionable. Not only does it bring into question the legitimacy of the online source, it always makes the client question if they are or have endangered their pet. It also begs the question that the practice has disregarded the safety of the animal being treated. I would rather you have said that the practice is ceasing working with online sources other than the one noted on your website due to the increase of workload. Additionally, unless the source is newly added, I would have willingly used the one the practice is associated with when I first became a client if I had been apprised of it. Moving forward I will be using the one you recommend more for convenience than anything else.

Too expensive especially in these trying times and we can’t be made to choose between caring for our pets and food on the table

Patty brought Nalu for her appointment. It was not a good day. ALSO WHO EVER DID NALU’S NAIL DID A HORRIBLE JOB. THEY DO NOT LOOK LIKE THEY WERE DONE AT ALL. 16 Years and I have never complained. FOR WHAT YOU CHARGE THEY SHOULD LOOK LIKE THEY WERE CUT AND I SHOULD NOT HEAR THEM CLICKING. Very disappointed with Precious Paws. Lisa Ward
