Great experience here! Dr. Stack was kind, receptive and helpful when it came to understanding and taking care of our new pup Cedar. I do wish a couple of questions like tick/flea supplements to types of food to give cedar were a bit more specific but she was helpful in pointing us the right direction!

I was not typically happy with this appointment. I saw a new vet or at least new for me. She did not give my dog as thorough and exam is I m used to seeing. The dog went home with a yeast infection of some kind in her ear which I didn t realize was as bad as it is. This weekend a bunch of flaky stuff the size of a dime came out of her ear. So the doctor on Friday this is Sunday. I will be calling on Monday to follow up on this. It is first time I ve had a negative experience at the frontier. All the staff was very nice. I m not sure my dog got the care she should have gotten. Not particularly happy this time

It didn t feel like I was getting very firm recommendations from the vet. They sort of left it up to me to decide, but I didn t study this in school so I m not informed enough to make a decision.

Absolutely 5/5. First with Dr. Palmer, then our new vet Dr. Budden. Both Bailey and I felt listened too, not rushed, and very comfortable.

I’m happy I made the switch to Frontier but my goodness it is MUCH more expensive than anyone else locally. :( Hopefully we can stay.

Dr. Stack was wonderful and took the time needed to work with my difficult boy, I can tell she loves the patients and it was very appreciated.

In Dr. Beedle s absence, we took our ill cat to see Dr. K. This was the second time she s assisted us. She s very knowledgeable, patient, thorough, and explains her plan/diagnosis clearly. She follows through with commitments, regarding results of tests and a call to check up on our cat. Really appreciative to have her as part of Frontier s wonderful vets. Thank you again, Dr. K

Occasionally seems impersonal. Difficult to build rapport with vets. Understandable that they are trying to sell packages, but often feel as if it s the bulk of the visit. Not a bad visit, but not a good one either. Super neutral

I was quite disappointed in my experience with Frontier. I scheduled my initial intake exam to establish care and was clear that my kitten was needing to be spayed. I was told the cost of this procedure was $500. I paid the deposit over the phone, and then at the appointment had over $300 worth of required labs sprung on me (a cost not disclosed that would be required for her spay). At no time was this disclosed. So already I was frustrated at the lack of transparency. Then the price of the spay was brought to me in a printout and the cost in only a matter of days had jumped to $624. I realize the clientele does seem to be of a certain means, but when the cost of a combo FeLV/ FIV test (a standard test) is $109 at frontier and approximately $40 everywhere else, that’s simply outrageous. When a standard spay at surrounding vets is around $300-$360 *with* lab work, and nearly three times the cost at Frontier, we truthfully felt swindled and like there was a classic bait and switch. We don’t have a lot of confidence in Frontier after this experience.
