Dr. Herdon was so caring and thorough. She took a lot of time to address our concerns, assess our dog and develop a plan of care for Duke. Her thoughtfulness for our baby showed, and we are so grateful.It was obvious she wants what s best for Duke.

This was our first visit. Both of our dogs needed nail trims and we recently moved into the area. We were very pleased, however, I m not sure that we will continue with your practice because of the cost. Our current vet is in Ortonville. We are very happy with him but would love to have a more convenient location. Your fees are more than double what he charges. We will have to consider what we will do in the future.

Dr. Hawker is awesome. She treats Simon like he could be her own dog. I would take him no where else but Union Lake.

You are fortunate to have some of the most caring dedicated staff I have had the privilege working with. As trainers Melissa and Rebecca are highly professional and educated into the special needs of some dogs like mine who has anxiety. I have been coming to your facility for over 11 years and am completely satisfied. How about some promotion for those of use who have used many of your services for over 10 years as a thank you????

Dr. Marti is terrific. She gives as much time as we need and always has. She s caring, compassionate, and very knowledgeable. We re grateful for all of this.

Dr. Plein is always great with my dogs and very compassionate! I like your hours and that my dogs can board here and get care if something comes up. My only complaint (and others I’ve talked to feel the same) is that you are very expensive for care and for boarding. And communication needs to improve across the parking lot.

Dr. Herdon is amazing! She is so helpful at giving me great advice and care for my aging dog ( which she has helped keep healthy and happy for many years). She listens to my concerns and always makes me feel better. I recommend her to anyone who needs an excellent vet!

Dr Weeden is Awesome!!

I have been taking my pets to UNVH for 15+ years and really like the vets. However lately, and especially this past visit, I am surprised at how expensive the services have become. They seem to increase every year and $30 for an ointment to heal a minor wound seems excessive. While I will continue to take my dog I will probably come for fewer visits. It is just not feasible anymore to spend that kind of money when there are other options especially for medicine, etc.

While this past visit was not the most pleasant due to the nature of our visit, Dr. Weeden and the rest of the staff could not have been more professional or understanding of the situation. I sincerely appreciate their wisdom and caring.
