I felt like the rooms were not so clean and my wait time was long this time. I had a 4 pm appointment and waited 45 minutes to see the doctor.

We love Dr. Cullen. She is informative but puts us at ease about our pet s health. She was so very kind when we lost our senior pet Jake. We miss Dr. Renyolds but we like nearly every doctor we ve seen at Union Lake.

Thank you so much for getting my dog in on such short notice. She broke a nail pretty badly and our (old) vet turned us away twice. You guys took us in on the same day we called and took care of Mia. We will be taking both of our dogs to you guys going forward.

I love this practice and had a great experience. The only problem is that it took almost four months to get an appointment - we waited because we really wanted to see Dr. Hawker, but it was hard to let our dog s anxiety keep going on for as long as it did without doing anything about it.

We have been with Union Lake Vet Hospital, training center and day care for 11 years and have always been impressed with the efficient manner in which a clinic so large with so many staff members can work in such a organized, professional and friendly way. We have our dog Katie and now our cat Sassy who receive the best care from the great doctors. We thank you entire staff at Union Lke for always being there to make sure out pets stay healthy!

The vet tech who was with Geordi during his sedation and subsequent blood draw, came out twice to inform us about how things were going. Since he wasn t responding to the med to calm him, she offered to ask the vet if there was an alternative that could be done while we were there. We didn t want to put our kitty through another car ride and visit. She came out and explained that the available vet would put together a mild sedative. She then went through to explain what the blood panel would look like and what Geordi was being screened for. We so appreciated the time she took to talk with us. Her presence made us feel that Geordi was in good hands and well-taken care of. I really wish I could remember her name, but if she sees this, she will know that this is about her.

Would not take our dog anywhere else. We trust and like dr Plein

It was easy to schedule the appt only because it was a follow up appt. I understand that it’s been a crazy year for us all, and that a lot of people got new pets during the pandemic. But it had been very hard to make an appt for a new issue that may have come up during the spring/summer. And I prefer seeing the same doctor for my pet because I feel that the doctor knows my pet best. I will say however, that we’ve always been beyond happy with ALL of the staff at the office! Everyone is always happy, positive and compassionate towards all the animals that come in and so very kind to all the humans too!

No suggestions. I am so happy with Dr. Hawker and the time and care she gave us and our baby. She will be the only doctor to take care of our babies from here on out. A great big thank you to Yvette for helping me to get an appointment in the first place. I wish I had known about this place years ago.

The doctor and her assistant were spectacular. We just had issues with the information leading up to the appointment and the space itself. We had to pay $100 3 months ago to reserve a spot and were requested to fill out a very long survey immediately for our pet. I received an email two days before the appointment asking me to fill out the survey -- I had done it months before, and it was clear no one bothered to read or evaluate it. The doctor confirmed she read it that day. That all seems a bit rude (don t badger me to finish it and then remind me to finish it when you haven t bothered to check or to read it). We also called on our drive to the office because we had received zero information about Covid protocols for your office. The woman who answered the phone was rude and short with us, and told us no one is wearing masks and there s no real protocol. We had to tell her we expect everyone we see to be wearing a mask. Thankfully the doctor and her assistant did, mostly, and that helped. The other issue was that we brought in a highly anxious dog and expected a large room, but were shuttled into a tiny closet of an exam room. This was NOT what we expected, nor do I believe it was the best scenarios for Finn s first visit. I do understand that apparently two great danes were occupying the large room -- but you had 3 months of scheduling to get this right, and it was not handled appropriately. Thankfully, again, the doctor and her assistant did all they could and apologized, but we expected better for the appointment and, it would seem to me, some apology or gesture for having messed that up. All that said -- we had no issues at all with the doctor and the assistant, and they were the reason we were there, so we appreciated all their care and attention.

Always friendly, clean and great vets.

I often have trouble getting past the staff who answer the phones and man the desk. Once I do, the techs and vets are responsive and attentive. In this case, the woman at the desk seemed willing to let me continue to sit and wait when I tried to inquire when we would be seen, but a passing tech asked why I was there. I told her my dog had a bleeding wound and has difficulty breathing because of her GOLPP. She told the woman at the desk to make that known. We then were taken to a room and paged for the next available vet. Dr. Herndon saw the extent of the wound and went to consult with a surgeon. I knew then that we were in good hands and my dog would receive the care she needed. She was started on antibiotics and scheduled for surgery the next morning. The surgical tech was reassuring and knew my dog s history. She told us we were welcomed to call her to follow up. We didn t have to because Dr. Liba called twice, to let us know what she had found, and again when the surgery was done. The staff member who checked us in and out was very responsive. The call the evening after the surgery to see how my dog was doing was much appreciated.

I can tell that the staff really do care about Dash and his health and really do appreciate it. Even though it always seems busy, we are taken care of and never feel rushed with the doctors or techs.

Amazing.... from The techs to the vets. Always a positive experience

The setup at Union Lake is fantastic for those of us with reactive or anxious dogs. My GSD was immediately comfortable (as comfortable as he gets at least) with Dr. Hawker and the technicians. Outside entry without having to go through the lobby was a lot easier for me. Highly recommend!

Our dog had an issue after surgery and they got her right in and took excellent care of her (and us). Couldn t ask for better care for our pets!
