Maybe make sure your receptionists know what vets will do certain procedures and not book for an important appointment with a vet who won’t even do the procedure even given the circumstances. Especially when the client is very clear about what they are needing done upfront when the appointment was scheduled, then gets charged for the exam fee when I shouldn’t have had to even go to the appointment if it wouldn’t be done.

I was told my pup .had to be there before 9 o’clock for her surgery. We arrived at 8:30. But then her surgery was not until 5 o’clock! Having to wait all day in an unfamiliar environment with strangers would add extra stress to her before her surgery. It certainly added much more stress to me. Because I was told said she had to be there by nine, and they said the surgery would take 45 minutes, that I would get a call within an hour and a half. You can imagine my stress when I never received a phone call at all and had to call myself at 5 o’clock to see how she was.. And she was just then beginning her surgery. Perhaps if someone had told me that there were many surgeries scheduled before hers, I would have been less stressed throughout the whole day.

Staff was friendly and professional. Any questions I ask they gave me a answer to. I will always use Frankfort animal hospital

My experience was excellent!!

My dog and I had to sit in the exam room for 40 minutes before the tech or vet were available to examine my dog.

We love the care all of our cats have received at Frankfort Animal Hospital. Excellent, prudent care given in the spirit of partnership, along with phenomenal follow up.

We appreciated the conversation with the Doctor as we decided what course of action to take regarding surgery.

The staff was very friendly towards me and my puppy! They treated us both very well! The wait time was longer than ideal. But to be expected, due to a high volume of patients!

Our entire experience was fantastic! We are new to the practice and I am so glad I chose to bring my girl to FAH! The staff was wonderful and very friendly. However, I would like to take a moment and express my experience with Dr. Paige Schoonveld. Dr. Paige was/is AMAZING! She took the time to sit and talk with me about all our options. She was very understanding and compassionate in her approach. She truly has a passion for serving and caring for the clients she sees! I have been sure to share with others my wonderful experience! We are lifers at FAH now and lifers with Dr. Paige!

The staff is always great at the Animal Hospital. That s why we keep coming back. Jennifer and Olivia are great and very knowledgeable to help answer questions even before seeing the veternarians.

This was our first visit to your practice. I wss quite surprised that we did not have the opportunity to speak to the doctor prior to my dog being taken to the back for an exam. I have owned dogs for the last 15 years and never experienced this and quite frankly I wasn t too happy with your process. I want to speak to the vet face to face with my dog present to explain the issues, problems, symptoms that brought us there. The vet assistant stood behind the little counter /desk thing writing on a note pad like a waitress. Not one staff member interacted with my dog on a personal, non clinical level. My old vet clinic was so different. Everyone there loved dogs, treated my dog and all others like he was their favorite . They talk to him, petted him etc. Didnt see any of that interaction at your practice.

I would like to not be judged for having purebred cats. I feel judged sometimes when I bring my cats in almost to the point of searching for another veterinarian. Also it seems like the vet I usually see does not understand the characteristics of MaineCoons ex. That they may weigh 25 pounds or more. She always makes comments about them not getting any heavier and they are still growing.
