My recent appointment was good. My problem was with the new app’s chat feature. On Saturday, July 22, in the late morning I reached out regarding some concerning behavior my dog was displaying. I got no contact from Mid Island until Monday morning. At that time I was only told the appointment times available. When I asked a follow up question, I was given no answer. It wasn’t until I called the office myself that I got quick and efficient help.

I have been going to Mid-Island with my dogs for countless years. I think they are the best vets in the world and have 100% confidence in them. Today, Dr. Crosio took care of Ruthie. She is very competent, kind, and so easy to talk to. Her assistant is very nice, too. It was a very good visit, as it always is.

Dr. Raciti was terrific. She put my mind at ease concerning possible bee sting to my dog, giving Lulu a thorough examination. She also gave the dog an eye exam, as Lulu is blind. She checked her for glaucoma and found her to be in stable condition. I have been part of the Mid Island Animal Hospital “ family” since 2003. This hospital is like home away from home. Animals and their owners are treated with the greatest of respect and consideration. Today, I phoned in at 9 am, concerned that my dog had a yellow Jack on her paw and I was told to immediately bring the dog in. I had no long wait and my mind was put at ease……Mid Island Hospital is simply a top facility…..blessed to know these fine, dedicated veterinarians.
