I really wish that we would be able to come in with our pets now instead of waiting in the car. I feel that you lose some of the personal care when we cannot actually be in the office with our pet

I know with Covid it is difficult to get the animals in and out of the cars. I waited a good 30 min for someone to bring my dog out to me after his procedure. So that is just some constructive feedback. I take my cats to a different vet and they are much more organized. But I love all the staff at your place and everyone is so friendly.

This was my first ever visit to your hospital. I was very pleased with the care my dog received. I know it’s a difficult time for all of us now, but it took over 45 minutes for me to pick up my dog today. Initially it seemed as if only one person was handling the patients waiting outside. Then I saw others coming out and helping all of us. Clearly you’re very busy. Perhaps name tags might be a thought? I knew no one and no one introduced themselves to me at either pickup or drop off times. It’s not easy handling over my baby to people I’ve never met before and couldn’t even address by a name.

While we rave about the warmth, ethics and expertise of clinicians and staff at Mid-Island, the true testament comes from our dog. Zeus is truly eager to see everyone the moment we enter the driveway and always returns happy and feeling better.

We love Dr. Raciti! She is thorough, and caring. From taking care of our Rosie the cat who passed away to Chloe our yorkie puppy. We always knew our pets were in good hands. We know how much she loves what she does as it shows through her caring and kind way. She is always accurate with her assessment, knowledgeable and realistic when it comes to presenting options when our pets are sick. We never feel pushed or rushed with any decision presented our way. This is not just a business but the people at Mid Island Animal Hospital really do care. I wish my own doctor had the same qualities that Dr. Raciti possesses Lol! I’m still searching... overall experience 10.

My dogs always get the best care at Mid Island Animal Hospital. The doctors and staff are wonderfull!

While I love Dr. Kornet and have been going to Mid Island for over 30 years, I didn t love sitting in my car waiting for my dog. After my dog was brought back outside to me, someone took my credit card to pay the bill. I then waited another 10 minutes for my card only to have to ask someone for it - they forgot. I m not understanding how it s possible for me to go see my own physician and wait in a waiting room with other people, but can t bring my dog inside.

This was our puppies first vet visit and we couldn t be happier with the way it went!!

I highly recommend mid Island but I was not happy when they ran my credit card without telling me how much my bill was. I specifically asked to let me know before they ran my credit card. This is the first time this happened.

Dr Kornet is simply the best!
