Mid Island hospital has an extraordinary staff of caring people, seasoned brilliant doctors & has the capacity to treat maintain & extend the lives of pets by going beyond their way to communicate with people whether a pet needs immediate treatment or just maintain a healthy long life! Always keeps me informed of what s needed and when regarding vaccines check ups etc! I am so grateful to this staff! Thank you so much for your diligence and compassion!

The wait was too long. Even after seeing the vet, I had to wait 20 minutes for my dog to receive 2 simple shots. Then I waited another 20 minutes to pay because the doctor had my file while attending to the next appointment. All on an extremely hot day where I was asked to wait in my car. No reason it should have taken that long. Still love the care my dog receives.

There is no better, friendlier place to bring your pet!!

Mid Island Hospital is simply the finest animal hospital..skilled and caring vets, supportive staff...caring, polite...they were troopers throughout the Pandemic, providing attention to our beloved pets....I have been a client since 2003....simply the best!!

We love dr woo. Check in was great. The parking lot is a night mare but there is not much you can do about that. Everyone is so nice and so helpful. We have been through a bunch of vets and are very happy to have found mid island

vets are very helpful and reassuring. very thorough when going over test result and examinations. vet techs are so sweet and helpful and supportive.

The major problem is our appt was at 4pm. You now have a active golden retriever 2 yr old waiting in car for almost 45 minutes before appt. Waiting time might not bother older smaller dogs. By the time the pet enters vet she is already hyper and anxious. Appts should be spaced out since the pet is in car due to covid, which is understandable. so the wait time is not so long. Sadie Demm had to have staples removed from her ear due to a dog bite last week. Which in itself is upsetting to a dog. Blood work was to be drawn to, but due to Sadie being uncooperative that could not be done. I was told by the vet that Sadie should take tradadone prior to coming to the vet. I have been bringing my goldens to you for over 16 years and have never encountered this.

Your staff and doctors are the best! From receptionists to vet techs and of course the wonderful doctors. After 4 dogs and over 20 years with your hospital, I can confidently say you’re the best there is.

We usually see Dr. Kornet but all the doctors here are wonderful and caring. They never turn you down for a same day appointment when your pet is sick. We love Mid Island Animal Hospital!

I love the doctors and love the staff but the waiting is killing me. I waited 30 mins yesterday before they took her in and today I’m waiting for medication and I waited 25 mins. When I inquired I was told I have to wait . Makes me not want to make another apt

Although I waited past the appointment time, the process that accommodates virus rules was very smooth from start to finish. The desk staff were very pleasant both in taking my dog in and out of the office. All clearly loved these animals, quickly reassuring my dog to walk with her. Dr Crocio was efficient in her diagnosis and treatment and caring about her patient and his worried mom. Never a problem. Highly recommended

My family has been seeing Dr. Kornet since he started at the practice. He is simply the very best, most compassionate vet. His staff is filled with like-minded, kind, and caring people - from the other vets in the practice, to the vet techs, and the people working the front desk. When my dog got sick, I turned to Dr. Kornet for care. While I had a vet in the city, I knew he would care for him (and me) like he was his own.
