They are awesome! Dr. Kornett is thorough, compassionate and explains everything in an easy to understand way. Truly cares about his furry patients and their families. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Great Doctors and Staff

We met with Dr. Weiman who was wonderful. It was our first time meeting her. She was extremely thorough. My only complaint is that our appointment was for 4:40pm and we were not seen until 5:30pm. I had two young kids with me and it made it very difficult.

The tech taking my chows blood was going to muzzle her. Noting she heard her growl while getting her on the table. There was no growl. I forbid the muzzle. She took her blood without incident. Not all chows are nasty!

Dr. Wieman was very helpful and informative. She and the Vet Tech were very careful in handling my cat, who can be very frisky and aggressive. MIAH is always very professional, caring and efficient.

I feel confident in the doctors and staff and completely trust them. However, when they are running over an hour late I would appreciate a phone call so I’m not sitting in the car and waiting in the parking lot.

We are extremely satisfied with the medical treatments my dog receives from Mid island Vets, however not very happy that I had to wait over 1 hour after after getting my dog back from her visit to receive my bill. I contacted office twice to pay my bill and I received my change back in the form of 55 1$ bills. I guess it’s better than garters.

Dr Kornett is absolutely fantastic. He takes his time and really cares about his patients. He has been successfully treating my Cookie dog for Addison’s disease and she is doing great. Even the staff is really nice which is rare in a veterinary office. I would never go anywhere else.

I appreciate all the team at Mid Island Animal Hospital. Excellent Covid protocols and efficient check in! The team clearly love caring for our pets. I’m highly satisfied and very grateful.

While they do provide an excellent service as always, they need to figure out how to prioritize seeing furry patients. We waited 45 minutes past our scheduled appointment time.

They are always accommodating. Al the staff are always so friendly and helpful . I originally was assigned to Mid Island Vet , to Dr Kornet though Guide Dog for the Blind because I am a puppy raisers. Now we have our own dog and I’m so glad we use them. Dr Kornet and all the Doctors, and staff are just wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. I would never switch. I highly recommend them.

A pet coming in for just an allergy shot shouldn’t have to wait 40 minutes. I understand it’s a busy office but small slots in between full exams should be accommodated for this two minute appt.
