We have taken our cats to Mid Island Animal Hospital for many years. Now my son has a new kitten, and he brings his little guy from Queens so he will have the same excellent medical care that our senior cats have had over the years. Many thanks to the caring staff of Mid Island!

I have known Dr.Kornet for almost 40 years! Has taken care of my pets from parakeets to kitty s to pups. I am a nurse by profession and can attest to Dr. Kornet s wonderful demeanor and unwaivering expertise and professionalism over the years. Dr.Kornet and his staff made my recent visit a wonderful experience. Dr.Kornet was extremely patient and answered all our questions. He handled my dog with great care. His staff is courteous,friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Mid Island Animal Hospital.

I love Mid Island Hospital. Dr. Raciti is so patient and kind. Today Alonso was not happy about getting his shots or blood taken. He fought fiercely but Dr. Raciti and her staff very calmly and patiently got the job done. They are all truly amazing!

Thank you for always taking good care of my fur babies. One of my kitties gave me a scare yesterday and was told to come in right away. I was very relieved and she s ok. Covid protocol is superb!!

I do not like that you do not let us in with our pet!! Why not let us wear a mask with pet if Covid worries are still a problem. My dog gets so freaked out.

I was pleased with the care my dog received. However, I was made to wait 10 minutes to check out, while the receptionist took care of a variety of paperwork issues that should have waited until after I was checked out.

I arrived at 8:30 to drop off my pet to be neutered. I was met by a surly aide who thrust a clipboard at me and told me to fill out the first 3 pages and then come in to let someone know they could take my pet. I filled in the first page and then discovered that the second and third pages were not my pet s. When I went inside to notify the staff I was told it was no big deal and these things happen as they handle so much paperwork everyday. After completing my pet s paperwork I waited for someone to come take him inside. Later that morning the doctor called to tell me he has an ear infection and we discussed a treatment plan. In the afternoon the same doctor called back to tell me how my pet s surgery went and to let me know he also has a skin condition. Again we discussed a treatment plan. While I found the doctor to be very helpful and knowledgeable I was put off by the support staff. As the public face of the practice they should work on their people skills. I was so put off by the support staff that I almost didn t let them take my pet inside for his procedure. I like the doctor but don t want to have to interact with the support staff.
