The staff and especially Dr Kornett are wonderful and we continue to bring our pets there because we feel they go above and beyond to care for our pets.

Mid Island Animal Hospital is the best. I m so happy that I have them.

Honestly I felt that the veterinarian and even the vet tech was condescending. The attitude I felt could have been much better especially when communicating about the gabapentin, it really felt that she was implying something negative that I did not dose my animal before the vet visit. I also felt that the communication about specific health areas that I was concerned about was lacking, and more so in areas that I really did not need. Naturally I respect any person who is concerned about the health of an animal, and acknowledge that my cat is obese. However please be more open to hearing about the circumstances and do not judge those who bring their animals to the vet, trying to give them the care they deserve. I have assumed the financial and medical responsibilities for this animal that primarily belongs to someone else, so I find it especially frustrating that when I do bring the cat in for care I must fear being shamed. I have so much respect an admiration for the people who dedicate their time to helping animal, please bear in mind in this field you will also need to communicate with many people, with their own set of circumstances. No one wants to return to the vet if they are feeling judged while trying to do the right thing. (Of course I will always bring my animal to the vet when they need care, but please remember I am just doing my best with what I have). Thank you for your services.

I have been going to Dr Kornet and Mid Island for over 35 yrs and still always impressed with the wonderful care my dogs have continued to enjoy. Wonderful Drs and staff.

All the front staff were very personable. It was a please to meet Dr. Kornet who was highly recommended to us by friends. He was thorough and very knowledgable.

The waiting room is fine but the offices could use a bit of an update. The tech, Nick, was great with my dog, Arthur, and Dr. Kornet went above and beyond yet respected my wallet as much as he could. I m glad I found Mid-Island

The girls at the desk work well together and make this experience very pleasant. The people in the back are very efficient. And, Dr Kornet is always there to answer any concerns that I might have. Keep up the great work.

We got an appointment within hours of calling and the Dr and staff took great care of Spencer when he was so nervous.
