Love the new waiting room furniture.

Everything is great, and Dr. Lihosit is caring and much appreciated! My only complaint is that the “ on hold” music is too loud.

My dog was .2 lbs above recommened weight for librela shot so they increased shot and charged me $20 more which seems excessive for not even being a 1/2 pound above weight. Also, this was the first time the desk asked if I want to schedule my next appointment. I come every month so I appreciate this and just feel like it should be automatic.

This is just my opinion. My retired vet would check eyes, ears and teeth. None of that was done. I never had to ask. I just thought it was all part of the check up. I hope this helps. I really do like the vets here.

Have been bringing my pets to Merrick for over five years. They provide consistently excellent care.

We’ve always loved coming to Merrick animal Hospital. Sometimes it is difficult to get an appointment if there’s a semi emergency, but they always suggest where you can take your pet and they try to squeeze you in if they can. Everyone treats animals with TLC and cares for your pet as a family member.

Dr. Horowitz is amazing. He is kind and gentle in tough moments. Last year when one of our cats became very ill, he helped us make the right decision. His reassurance and compassion will not be forgotten. The entire practice followed up with a card expressing their condolences for the loss of our beloved pet and Dr. Horowitz’s hand written message really brought us a lot of peace. We have since seen his for general check ups for our other cat and he is both informative and thorough. I left the appointment feeling like I had the whole picture of the health of my cat and a vision into future care.
