Dr. Julie is an amazing, knowledgeable and empathetic veterinarian. She presents options and recommendations from all aspects! It’s rare to find a great veterinarian these days and I hope she knows how much she is appreciated!!

Hard visit because of an elderly pets health - but everyone was so kind and professional and caring.

We started bringing our cat to Merrick several years ago when our original vet kept telling us it was a food allergy. When everything the original vet suggested didn’t work we brought her to Merrick. After a quick look and a blood test they determined it was a thyroid issue. She’s gotten better with Merrick. We couldn’t be happier and more thankful.

The tech was extremely helpful. I brought my dog in with a new harness that I couldn’t figure out and she helped me before the visit and then went over it again after the visit. The ladies at the front desk were very upbeat. My doctor always spends enough time with my dog Chi.

The staff is great. Dr. Horowitz is very compassionate and listens to my concerns. He obviously loves his job.

It was unclear when the assistant came in and told us about our order for continuing allergy meds whether that was the end of the appointment- just a small tad more communication would have been helpful. Overall I love your practice and your care of our kitties.

The wonderful staff and quality compassionate care that we receive is the reason we have returned year after year, dog after dog. From our most affectionate and easy dogs to our fear aggressive problem child all are cared for with the same caring grace and quality level of care. Five stars are not enough.

I was initially a bit confused about a credit on our account, but it was settled to my complete satisfaction. I recommend Merrick Animal Hospital without reservation. Our cat seemed quite relaxed in the comfortable and well decorated waiting room. The vet and techs were wonderful with her.

This was our first visit with our 11 year old and new puppy. We were so happy with the one on one time and how patient the vet was with all of our questions. This was a major change from being rushed, not having answers and an outrageous bill.
