We were very happy with Precious Paws from beginning (getting an appt within a few days was easy) to middle (we were running late and had called to let them know, was told we may have to wait a few mins, understandably but were seen within 10 mins of arriving). The vet asst was friendly, informative and loving. Dr. Flood was like one of our friends, she got on the floor and loved on our boy & spent more than enough time with us. Very thorough and informative. To the end (check out took a wee bit longer as they were researching meds & dosages) but all in all a fantastic experience. We will be going back for sure.

The closed sign was on the door when I arrived for a 10 AM appointment and when I pulled on the door it didn t open. The sign no longer said OV Animal Hospital, but Precious Paws. I tried to call to see why you were closed and I got a recorded Verizon response asking for a password. I was quite distressed until I saw one of your employees in the parking lot and she assured me that the vet was still there and open. (It turns out the sign hadn t been turned to open; the door sticks; and I have no idea what was wrong with the phone. Anyway, it was not a very professional presentation.

Since this was a major expenditure totaling over $1000 for an emergency, I would have preferred a more detailed explanation by the doctor or at least the front office of what the major items were. As the treatment extended into a second day, the same thing applied. Otherwise, I was very happy with my pup s care.

The service was excellent, and I know that a great deal of this is the vet spends a lot of time with the dog. I very much appreciate this especially since, this time, he had a mystery illness that required time and tests to diagnose. My only complaint is that waiting times have been very long each time I have been there. Perhaps there could be a sort of express line for animals with more mundane problem, as mine has occasionally been. I do appreciate the care he gets there.
