Very much appreciated being able to administer Ruby s oral bordetella myself, and also the offer for a Happy Visit . Ruby is clearly traumatized by her many visits there, Cornell, at the clinic for her spay, etc. So, we re going to be visiting again. We ll start with the parking lot a few times when you re closed, and when ready, I ll call for another Happy Visit inside. :-)

The receptionists need more information regarding existing patients who may need urgent care. The doc told me that you hold reservations for this purpose and (understandably) they fill quickly. When I called for a potential urgent situation I was abruptly and rudely told that there are no openings for 3 weeks and my only option is to go to an emergency clinic. I wasn’t even given the option of perhaps later in the week, which has never happened before in the 15 years I have taken my animals there.

I absolutely hate having to wait in the car in order to be seen. I had hoped that this was the result of Covid restrictions, but I am beginning to think that this will be permanent. If this is the case, I will be changing providers.

When sending patient home on Friday with a urine capture test you should advise that you are not open on the weekend

Overall a very satisfactory visit. I was very happy with the way my cat was treated. It is a very friendly and safe place to bring my pets.

Not thrilled about having to wait in the car. But, I understand the need for it.

Reception staff are compassionate and caring. Dr Megan is always amazing, takes time to explain things and never makes me feel rushed. She is compassionate and patient and I appreciate her and the staff of Cayuga vet.

My appt was at 6. I got there at 5:50. Was told a tech would be out to get me but that they were a few mins behind. At 6:50 i asked how much longer? They forgot about us sitting in the parking lot…. On Monday my husband dropped off a fecal sample and the girl who came out and got it just took it from his hand. Never said Hi, Thank u, We’ll call you with the results. Nothing. Just grabbed it and walked back inside. The last time I was there with another dog, I had to pay 3 different times because they kept forgetting to add charges to my bill.

I love this office and everyone who works there. All questions get excellent, as you all excel at your jobs. The only one I would maybe have issue is with #6. My pet was in for blood work and was told as there wasn t any vet tech to take the blood and weigh him it would be vet taking the blood. I actually got charged for the visit which I had been told I wouldn t. Otherwise, you all are the best.

Your text number never works for me

The cost of pet care is really crazy. I can’t imagine that everyone with pets can afford even a simple well check.

Two months ago when I just needed to pick up medication, I waited over 20 minutes with no response from the office. This time, however, I waited not at all. I opted to meet with the vet who was new to the practice, for no other reason than to give her a chance. My dog was supposed to be seen by Dr Megan who I know I like already!! Dr Emily Walker was pleasant and thorough with my dog during the appointment and during her follow up phone call today.

This particular visit was another visit that did not go well. Arrived to get medicine refill and have pet checked per Vet direction. Waited twenty minutes only to have tech say pet did not need to come, just need refill. Pet was taken in and weighed anyway. Pet returned to car, was told receptionist would call for card info and bring out meds. After 20 minutes, I called and left a voicemail that I was outside waiting. After 35 minutes, I drove away without hearing back from anyone. And never did receive a call at all. This is the third visit within a year where similar things have happened, causing extensive wait times on the beginning or the end of the appointments. And because you cannot go inside the majority of the time, there is nobody to talk to to find out what is causing such big delays in appointment times. One of those times I waited outside over an hour to have my pet seen. It is very frustrating to say the least.

Not fond of waiting in my car and needing permission to have more than one person come in but attention and care form Dr. Meagan and Little Meagan was phenomenal! Bravo!!

Great as usual!

I hope the office intends to open their doors soon. There is no surge in Covid and I do not understand why the office is not open as it was before Covid. One of my sons (adult) was not able to be there when my last dog was put down and that was unfair and hurt our family.

The staff was great and Dr Jones is just a great person and a very good Dr. She and the techs treated my dog like he was a king. To sit on the floor with Sam and talk to him as she treats him was above and beyond. It was our first time there and my pet and I haven’t been treated so special like they treated us in a very long time Hat off to a great place with great people. Thank you for being you.

I was not impressed with the doctor I had at this visit, Dr. Jones I think. She was very loud and a bit overwhelming. I had questions but didn’t want to spend any more time in the room with her than necessary. She was not very nice to her helper. The rest of the staff I encountered were very kind and professional. The new building is very nice and very clean. I am not sure if you can request to see (or not see, in this case) certain doctors or not, but that doctor would be my only complaint at my visit.
