I loved the fact I got an estimate first. I wasn’t surprised at the end, and everything was explained throughly. I feel all my questions were answered, the vet and the staff really cared about getting my cat ChiChi feeling better again. Also a big plus, it’s affordable. Many pet owners avoid the vet because the walk in fee is just to much, Harrisonburg animal hospital was in my budget. Now I’m not afraid to take my animals to the vet!

Harrisonburg animal Hospital is one of the most reliable vet office around. I never have had a problem vetting an appointment, medication filled, or food prescription filled. Staff are always kind and hard working. They focus on the customer and pet. Thank you for caring for my fur babies.

I was concerned that I received a call questioning surgical procedures my pet had prior to the appointment. I had not seen her medical file and was not 100% sure of her past medical history. I had only owned her 4 weeks and had the records electronically delivered from her prior vet. I though someone would have reviewed her medical file before beginning the procedure. It scared me quite frankly because she had already been put to sleep and I was called in the midst of the procedure with questions that could have been answered by looking at her file before starting. Everything turned out ok and she is doing well. I think that any doctor should view the medical file of a new patient human or animal, especially if surgery is involved. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to share and thanks for all you do!

Services are good. Biggest feedback is we had a tech visit last time and I had some questions about our puppy. The tech didn t spend any time to answer nor was interested. Furthermore, every receipt should have dates for meds needed. They do have vaccination dates but, he also needed more flea and tick drops in addition to heartworm oral meds. None of this was on the receipt. I had to go back through my notes to make sure nothing was missed. Need better user visibility to med dates.

I love this place I take my 25 weeks pup Gucci and they are so friendly and treat my baby so good plus they call me after appointments to check on how my Pup is doing. Friendly,professional, clean I love everything

The staff was great and friendly which reassured me that I was putting my dog Muffin in the right hands. They made time to find why she was limping when I came in for a walk in appointment and were even able to get her in for the surgery the same day. The surgery was great and I was informed of her progress even when I wasn t at the hospital in person.

My first visit there was wonderful. Everyone was very professional and nice. Will be back soon!

So nice and understanding...not judgemental at all which is nice. I know I can spend thousands to prolong my cats life but the doctors understood when I said it s not financially possible for me and the doctors reassured me that I am a good cat owner even if I have limited money for him

Dr.Ward is always shows how much she cares about her clients and their kids by being available to answer questions and make the client feel important. I can’t imagine going to any other vet and getting better care.

I would have bought some pain medicine for my cat if it had been offered to her.

Dr. Nelson and the staff have been wonderful helping us deal with a terminal illness in our dog Molly.
