The scale is actually in the direct line from the exam room to the main desk and similar in color. Walking in my dog was put on the scale but I didn’t realize it was right by the door as soon as I exited. That’s an extremely poor choice of location. With my rambunctious dog on the leash and my hands full of paperwork and my purse I didn’t see it. In fact I had no idea what I had tripped over until I sat up. My face and arms hit the scale hard. I really think it should be moved or have something set around it. When I suggested that the woman giggled. I wasn’t joking. I’m 65 and falls can be serious. I hit my artificial knee hard as well and it is very painful right now. Hopefully it isn’t damaged. The technician even said oh everybody trips over the scale, I strongly suggest that something be done about this before someone is seriously injured. I’m not one to seek litigation but someone else could have a solid case against the practice. Falls are a major problem for people as we age. Broken bones are a frequent problem. I appreciated that they helped me up and asked if I was okay but again I can’t be strong enough with the warning that it must be dealt with even if you have to rearrange the entire waiting room or relocate the door of the exam room. I’m not really sure what I will do in the future. I may look for a safer location for me to find care for my dog. Unless I hear that you have changed the set-up from you I will likely look elsewhere. It really wasn’t a laughing matter but perhaps that was just a nervous response from the technician when she laughed.

My bf took my dog for me. He said the wait was so long overall. He went out to the car to put our dog in and he said a lady ran out and said “if you leave I’m calling the cops” That could’ve been handled very differently. She could’ve asked first what he was doing, very rude. The point of this appt was to see if my dog is pregnant, she mated 4/7 and my bf was told they couldn’t check? We had to make another appt. That $27 was really all I had j til next paycheck. I called after her appt and spoke with Linda she was very nice.

The girl that seen us. I don t know her name, was very nice and informative of her knowledge. I never did see a Doctor (Vet). The girl took care of us. Wish we had seen a Vet. To look at Buddy s eyes, nose mouth. Took his temptress, ect. Was charged for for wellness exam. Feel like that didn t happen ??

Dr Skinner is always so amazing. She thoroughly explains everything, answers all my questions and truly cares for the animal. I’m very confident in her and appreciate everything. I highly recommend her!

Both Dr Skinner and the front desk staff were very knowledgeable and so helpful. Dr Skinner answered all of my questions (and I had a lot) and was very patient and kind. I will definitely be taking my fur babies back for any future care!
