The discharge was rushed and not as thorough as I had hoped.. I understand the hospital was going on diversion and they were busy.

While we certainly understand that it’s an “emergency” room and pets are seen according to severity of issue, communication is key. We were left in a room with the door closed for almost 3 hours without a single word from any staff. No updates on our pet, and no word on how busy/backed up things were in back. Not until we opened the door did anyone acknowledge us. This was extremely frustrating. I would suggest better communication with the pet owners. Better communication beforehand would make the experience better and perhaps the huge bill for service wouldn’t be as hard to swallow.

Dr. Norman and the tech who helped us initially was amazing with both our pups, it really made the whole thing a positive experience for them!
