Mid Island Hospital is the very best! We have been bringing our dogs to Dr. Kornet and his staff for a total of 17 years. We would never ever consider going to another veterinary hospital because at Mid Island they care so much about everybody’s pets.

Dr. Kornet is the best! He cares for the well being of your pet and you. He knows exactly what to test for and doesn’t over test resulting in not overcharging. I highly recommend him!

Mid Island is the finest animal hospital. I have full confidence in Dr. Kornet as well as all the veterinarians on staff. Skilled, caring, empathetic, they treat your pets as if they belonged to the vets. The staff are all professional and treat animals and owners with great consideration. They have been available throughout the Pandemic which is extraordinary.

As always the staff was so kind to Prudence and I. From Front Desk to the Staff in the ward everyone took great care of Prudence. The staff of any organization is the foundation, MIAH has a very solid foundation! Dr. Mitch made sure that my Prudence was quickly diagnosed. I do not know what we would do without him! Prudence and I thank all of you!

I had an appointment for my fur baby on February, 21st at 3:30pm. I did arrive at 3:20pm and was prepared to wait the 10 minutes until my appointment time. Someone checked me in and at 4:00pm I was still sitting in the car with my fur baby. I called the front desk and was told I would be seen in about 20/ 25 minutes. So I waited the extra time making my appointment almost an hour late. I then went into the practice and was told it would take 15 minutes to do bloodwork etc.. 20 minutes later I called to find out when Marley Levenson would be released. I was told she would be out soon.. Around 5:10 Marley came out.. I was extremely upset that we had to wait in the car for 1 hour. Someone could have called me or informed me that the dr. was running late. I should have been informed. I could have rescheduled or went home and came back later. The lack of communication I find appalling. I have a 7.5 lb Maltese who will be 13 next month. I was not offered water for her either. I appreciate that things happen and appointments run over/ emergencies etc but everyone’s time is valuable and should be respected. Lisa Levenon:Marley Levenon’s mom.

We didn’t visit with a doctor because this time we only needed a bordatella vaccine for Gracie to be able to attend doggy daycare and this was being administered by a tech. However, as always, staff was prompt, professional, friendly and pleasant! I highly recommend whenever anyone asks for a veterinary hospital. I’ve been bringing my pets here for over 20 years and I trust them implicitly.

Excellent visit. Doctor Cornet took a great interest in my cat. Made me feel like a valued client. Katie was also very attentive and friendly. Easy to make an appointment. I definitely recommend the Mid Island Animal Hospital.

Mid Island Animal Hospital was one of the best places I have been to for my pet health care. They were extremely accommodating and so great to work with. They listened to every concern and request and made sure my pets were happy! The prices are so good and the service is amazing!
