They were booked solid for the week but an appointment development due to a cancellation and I was notified and booked. Dr. Smith could not have been nicer and was very pleased on the way she handled my dog and myself. I was very uptight due to the unusual nature of my visit but felt so much better upon leaving.

Thank you so much for being so wonderful and patient! It was the best experience I’ve ever had taking my dog to the vet. Dr. Rufrano and all the technicians were all so friendly, and took the time to talk to us. So helpful, super patient, and very personable. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and comfortable!

We requested an appointment for our 10 month old Rottweiler (new to us) and were very happy with how soon we were able to come in. Unfortunately, on the day of the appointment I forgot the kennel paperwork, which I explained to the receptionist and was told it would be no problem. The tech was able to call and confirm all of his vaccinations. I only live 12 minutes away and by the time I returned, our dog was already finished with the appointment. Afterwards, we were shocked to find out that he was not tested for heart worm. I called back and spoke with a receptionist who was sort of dismissive of my concerns and told me that it was my fault. I take responsibility for forgetting the paperwork, but wouldn t it have made more sense to also ask the kennel if he was tested for heartworm? Or to simply take blood anyway in order to be safe? When I asked her why he couldn t come back for a blood test, she told me they had to continue with their day. I did bring the paperwork back on the same day and Nicole was able to answer all of my questions fully. She was very kind and patient, I wish she was the one who had answered the phone originally.

I had taken all my dogs including Willie Mays to Dr Herbold. St Francis was 1 of 2 the staff recommended after Herbold died. You have surpassed their recommendation and I’m very happy with the staff and services you provide us for Willie Mays. I’ll keep recommending people and their animals to you!

Doctor suggested additional blood work however did not discuss the exorbitant price of this procedure. Was shocked at cost when checking out. We should have been given price ahead and then could have weighed the benefits of the test with the price and made an informed decision. We feel deceived.
