I know it is because of the pandemic,BUT sending my Frank alone when he was so ill. Frank is very attached to me and, yes,he is a great patient but I know he didn t understand why he went in without me. It seems that some situations should be an exception. ??

Online portal for scheduling did not work for month I tried to schedule appointment. Twice when I tried to schedule by phone I couldn’t get through. I left a message one other time and didn’t receive a return call. Too difficult to schedule well visits

It would ve been nice to know an estimated wait time. It felt like we waited forever in the car before we were contacted.

Our both labradoodles go there for vet visits and grooming. The last three times, there for grooming, Rosie had her foot cut and bleeding when she stands upon a gate...ALL THREE TIMES! I was only notified once by the staff prior to picking her up. This is not acceptable for us. They also don t take them out to pee/poop so they go in the car before we can get home!! The care there used to be second to none but not anymore.

Thank you all for making it safe and easy for our pets to still get the care they need.

It was hard to get through on the phone but it was very easy to go online and make an appointment. As for the appointment, we had a really great experience. Dr. Schmidt was very thorough and kind. We had a really great experience overall.

From the first person I spoke with to book an appointment to everyone I spoke with on the day of the appointment, it was a fantastic experience. Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional.

Very happy with all phases of the appointment. Especially liked being able to send a quick message via email to Dr. Leavitt with some information he wanted me to check at home. I think this is a great tool to exchange further information for both the doctor and the patient.

Excellent experience

Dr. Levitt continues to be an excellent veterinarian for our dog and I couldn’t imagine taking him to anyone else. Although the current pandemic constrains our ability to have face to face interaction I was still able to have a full conversation with dr. Levitt regarding our dog. He addressed each of our concerns and I never felt rushed. I could not be happier with the competent and compassionate care we receive from Dr. Levitt.

I was not happy to have to pay for a second office visit for Oliver in a month They credited an office visit for cooper seeing it was under the same circumstance

I ve been so impressed with how CAHVET has adjusted their services for contactless/curbside pick up. I m sure it must be difficult on the whole team and presents a number of challenges behind the scenes that customers aren t aware of. Any delays or waits for appointments are completely understandable, and when the possibility of an emergency existed for my pet we were still able to be seen pretty much immediately. The only critical feedback that I would mention is that the phone line in the patient room is sometimes hard to hear or cuts out a lot. Not the reception area, but when the vet or tech phones us in the car to discuss our dog(s) situation.

Always kind and considerate

I miss being in the exam room with my furballs, but it is comforting to hear them meow (happily) while I m talking things over with the vet on the phone. They like everyone they ve met at this practice.

End the car side and allow at least 1 person to accompany the pet inside for a normal visit. I understand the reasons for car side but it does make things more complicated when trying to discuss treatment options for the pet.

I had a tech appointment for bloodwork. We had to waited little more than 20 minutes past our appointment for the tech to come out. My dog was back in under 10 minutes. Twenty minutes may not seem long but when you have an anxious dog freaking out while waiting....its a long long 20 minutes.

Everything worked as well as it could due to the circumstances

The survey results above are a credit to Dr. Nemeth on 12/27/20. She was extremely helpful, caring and listened to all we had to say/recommend for Gizmo. Prior to this appointment I would have filled a survey with Poor Ratings on all six questions. We tried to get in the day after Xmas because Gizmo coughed/gasped most the day. Only to be told to go to emergency. Tufts, however, said it was not life threatening and to contact our vet. We did again, however were instead given the name of an emergency vet in Waltham. We had very poor service, no one who seemed to care what was happening and after all our years of being a customer there felt like we were non-existent. The next morning when I called again we fortunately received a cancellation appointment and Dr. Nemeth put our fears at ease, listened and confirmed what we thought may be, and that there was no infection. So with a prescription and medication in hand we left feeling better about what had transpired with The Community Animal Hospital - again it was all attributed to Dr. Nemeth.
