Dr. Smith was very informative and helpful. He gave us options and suggestions we found useful. He was very easy to talk with and caring.

Didn t use the website, all the staff were great.

This is our third Shi Tzu. The previous two were seen by Dr. Tom Hirt, at Pewaukee Vetinary Clinic. Dixie for 11 1/2 years euthanized do to a severe stroke and Dr. Tom’s recommendation. Buddy 14 1/2 years euthanized do to severe diabetes and physical issues. Our existing Shi Tzu is a 2 1/2 year old Texas rescue. We have been very satisfied and will continue using your services with Dr. Matt.

Dr Baker explained my dog’s issue well, and showed me step by step in his exam why he was ruling out a severe ACL injury.

Dr. Hillary is amazing! We would recommend her to everyone!

Dr. baker and the vet tech (sorry blanking on her name) were so nice to Roman, who’s got a major attitude issue and is aggressive to strangers. Taking him to the vet is daunting and they made it as smooth as possible.

Very quick appt great care

This was our first appointment with Dr. Mallo. We were impressed by her professionalism, her knowledge base, her assessment and recommendations and her rapport with our dog.

Dr. Glazer was very interested in helping with our cat’s diabetes diagnosis. She had ideas of what might be causing his blood sugar to remain high and offered suggestions for future consideration.

I thought it was great how they wrapped my kitty up with a blanket. He was very calm during the visit. Dr. Glaser was extremely knowledgeable and did not rush the visit. Definitely felt we have a solid care plan in place.

I do speak highly of Pewaukee Vet Service, but I don t tell people to mention my name as new customers. I m more in it for being a good neighbor and having excellent providers in our community! ;) You guys have been taking care of our furry family for 14 years - it s something that has come up in conversation at the dinner table when we talk about where we will move to in the next 18 months. We want to be close enough to stay at PVS!

Doc Baker is the best. He fully explains what and why he is doing with out fur baby.

First time client, and have nothing but great things to say from our first visit.

I would recommend when the doctor is doing a yearly exam that you allow the owner to be present with the pet. My dog went to the back room with out me for nail trim and anal gland treatment and when the vet came in the room he said he did the exam while my dog wa in the back room. I wanted to go over my senior dogs issues together especially since it was a yearly exam. Dr Matt is a very good doctor but I have heard other customers complain that they do not like the way the clinic handles the exams without the owner. I ll just request it next time and I m sure it will not be a problem.

I mentioned this to Dr. Baker during the appointment, but will repeat here for the practice leadership to see. When we brought Morty in to have his ear checked, a vet tech brought him back out in <5 minutes and assured us that he had a skin tag on his left ear. He was not seen by a veterinarian. When we saw Dr. Baker and showed him photos, he immediately recognized it as a histiocytoma, and recognized that it was already resolving. It was discouraging that we were given wrong information the first time we brought him into the office, and that he was not seen by a vet. While the technicians may be experienced, perhaps they should not be providing diagnoses without the supervision of a veterinarian. We appreciate that Dr Baker recognized the issue, and explained what we should expect in the healing process.

I only used the boarding service. I was very pleased with the staff and facilities. I had no worries. I can see why my son and daughter in law go here. Thank you to everyone.

When the vet tech was about to take Cooper to the back to draw blood, I asked her if she could trim his nails and she said yes, however, she failed to inform me that I would be charged $30 for the service. Had she done so, I would have declined. Given the high cost of the veterinary appointment based on the other services needed (shots, labwork) and the fact that we have been customers of PVS for almost 20 years, I would think that something as small as a nail trim would be, and should be, complimentary, or at the most $10. I was disappointed and annoyed to see a charge like that on my invoice.
