I like Stop 11 s location and really like the front desk people, vet techs, and vets. But you need more of all of them and more square footage. I had to wait almost a month to get my dog in for a single, simple vaccination booster given by a vet tech. When I first started taking my dogs to Stop 11 eight years ago, I could have gotten in the same week I called for that appointment. It s really difficult getting an appointment when my dog is sick today (as opposed to three months from now), and taking a non-emergency ear infection to the ER overloads those employees and resources. Stop 11 s pet to vet/vet tech ratio is way too high for now and is having a negative impact on timeliness of care. I know this is a problem throughout the profession, but is there any way this office could physically expand and then hire more vets and vet techs to meet the increased demand?

When I went in on Monday, the systems were down because of the extreme cold weather. I completely understand having technical difficulties or issues. The vet wasn’t sure if my dog needed an additional vaccine. If I had known prior to my visit, I could have brought my previous paper work in. Now I have to take my dog in again because she does need that particular vaccine. She is terrified of going to the vet, so I have to traumatize her two days in one week. I just wish they would have called me prior to coming to ask for previous paper work.

Love the staff and the service. Wish there was some wiggle room for appts in a 1-2 day openings for sick pups. I can from a place where we could do that and it was so helpful. Emergency vets really are so hard to go to for minor/minuscule issues.
