I was very impressed with Dr. Murphy. She diagnosed my dog s issue quickly and spent time explaining what was going on with him as well as answered all my questions. I did not feel rushed at all. Looks like I have found the vet I ve been looking for.

I need to let you know that your entire staff was outstanding with the exception of one individual - the vet. The first time I met Dr O, I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he was having a bad day. He was rude, condescending, and incredibly disrespectful. I almost felt bullied. I had intended to contact Dr. Murphy with my concerns after this initial visit, but decided not to. I did let the WONDERFUl Techs and office staff know I would prefer NOT to see Dr. O again. Unfortunately he was the only one available Friday (1/26) for a simple rabies shot. I figured my interaction with him would be minimal. Luckily I did not see him. HOWEVER, I did HEAR him. He was unbelievably unprofessional. The poor girl, Paige, was yelled at VERY loudly, where I could completely over hear him. He shouted at her so loudly and undeserved that she said, If you talk to me like that, I will walk out. About 5 min later, a different lovely tech came into the room, obviously having been crying, to apologize for the wait and what I heard. I explained to her that Dr O had absolutely no right to talk to either of them so disrespectfully and load. Apparently he did not like that I had denied to do additional blood work and wanted her to come back and encourage me to do more. I would like to speak with Tom or Dr. Murphy regarding this. I will still continue to use your clinic for my fur-babies, but ONLY if I can see Dr. Murphy. I do believe you are going to lose too many clients with Dr O and his unpleasant condescending personality and behavior. You can contact me at 630 292. 4468. The staff and Dr. were amazing, they trusted us and my animals with such kindness and care. Dr. Made sure we were always fully informed properly and the staff made sure we were comfortable during the whole process. Will definitely keep coming back with our other pets!!

Never met the doctor who did the surgery. It would have been nice to have a follow up call after surgery. The staff was very helpful. The billing was reasonable and well explained.

5 stars across the board. We have always received top notch service from the entire staff, and truly appreciate Dr. Murphy and each member of her caring staff. We would give more stars if we could! Dr. Murphy is hands down the BEST veterinarian we have ever met, knowledgeable, caring and an awesome person. We are lucky to have her as our vet.

1) I had to correct the front desk staff several times that my pet was a male, not a female. Once or twice is fine - several and it becomes a little frustrating. 2) I could hear my pet hiss and yelp while getting his shots, from the front area, which had me a little concerned. When I expressed said concern, I received minimal reassurance. 3) The staff was pleasant, but I didn’t feel super confident in their knowledge about my pet and what shots he was supposed to be scheduled for. One asked me what he was scheduled for (shouldn’t they know?), and the other asked how old he was (should be easy to tell from their records) while looking at her computer, in order to determine when he should be getting a certain vaccine (which it turns out he’s overdue for and they couldn’t schedule for another two weeks). Also they charged me for a service they didn’t end up doing, which is fine - I’m not worried about being reimbursed for it - my concern is that they didn’t know what service was being provided, and I wasn’t sure if my pet needed it or not. In general I don’t feel like they are as detailed and reassuring as they could be, especially for a first time pet owner - I expect a little more guidance I guess. I am happy with the previous doctor visit; he spent time answering my questions and giving helpful advice. I’m guessing they see a lot of patients, it just would be nice to know that they’re confident with the care they are giving.
