I recently had my cat there and he had anesthesia, teeth cleaning and biopsy in an effort to find out what was going on with mouth sores and severe pain. The Dr called after surgery but no one has called or checked in since. We are waiting a week for biopsy and I was sent home with him having a feeding tube. No one has called to see if he’s ok, able to eat at all, if he was in pain or how things are going with the feeding tube etc....Quite disappointing!!!

We had an excessive wait time. A dog that arrived after us was seen first and ushered into the empty exam room due to another dog exiting. The dog departing was threatening and barking aggressively at me while my cat was in her carrier subject to this behavior. Neither the dog s owner or the staff said or did anything to prevent or stop the dog from acting in this manor. I get that a dog on dog interaction would have been worse but this was still a negative exposure for my pet as well. In the end an appointment that needed to be 15 min or less (regular checkup) ended up being close to a hour long, and rather expensive for a checkup and senior panel.

I have only just started using Hopewell Animal Hospital in the past year and I don t think I ll ever change again. The doctors and the clinical and clerical staff are excellent at what they do. They are caring, considerate, helpful and kind. Thank you very much.

Improvements to the entry drive and parking lot would be appreciated.......feel like I am driving along someplace in Iran where an IED was triggered.....but I don’t drive a tank ?? Overall.....prices are higher than area vets but you can’t beat Dr Sheck for compassion and understanding.
