We are very happy to have met Dr. L and we are confident that she will be able to take care of our pet s medical needs. We appreciate the estimate of services and the phone call the day after the appointment to explain blood work results. The only thing I would say is that the office area had a strong unpleasant smell but that might unavoidable at the vet. Thank you!

The whole Merrick staff was so gentle with my almost 15 year old geriatric pup. The vet aide who laid on the floor and rubbed his belly while clipping his nails to keep his sore hips comfortable was an absolute angel. Our vet was knowledgeable and kind when discussing how we would know it was the right time to put our loved old guy down. I m grateful for the complimentary nail trim and donated meds. Your generosity and kindness will not be forgotten and I hope to pay it forward.

Everything was great. Everybody there was fantastic. My dog Bo is treated like a king when we come to Merrick. He s happy to be there and I think the new bone and joint medicine that he got is working already. I would definitely recommend anyone to bring their pet to you.

Love Dr. Horowitz. You can tell he really cares about your concerns and loves animals. I met him on his first day working at Merrick. He got down on the floor with my cat. I knew then he is a vet with ??.

The entire staff at Merrick are so kind! I am so very grateful with how amazing they are with my reactive dog. They have assisted in calming his behavior through happy visits. You can really tell that everyone here loves animals and really strives to provide the best care possible. They have been wonderful with my cats as well, keeping it as calm for them as possible. So very thankful to have found such a great vet clinic!

Unfortunately, it was time for our 20yo cat move on to cat heaven. We could not have received better service and kindness. The entire staff was so compassionate and helpful. The room had a nice little pillow and blanket for Tallulah and Dr. Lihosit and her assts. explained every step. It was such a terrible time in our lives, but the Merrick Animal Hospital staff did so much to make it easier. Thank you.
